We are profitable, privately held, and backed by a team of MIT-trained data scientists and mathematicians. Now, we are looking for a Director of HR Tech Partnerships to act as a catalyst for our next phase of growth.

You won't just be selling a product; you will be building the distribution highways that take SAVVI to millions more users. Your goal is to foster formal partnerships with supplemental benefits carriers, HRIS platforms, and Benefit Administrators, transforming them into active revenue engines.
What You’ll Do
You will own the channel strategy from "handshake to revenue." This is a hunter role focused on the partner ecosystem, with a heavy emphasis on Voluntary Benefits Carriers.
- Identify & Secure: Leverage your existing "rolodex" to identify, pitch, and contract with key partners (Carriers, HRIS, BenAdmins) who can white-label, bundle, or resell the SelectSmart platform.
- Land & Enable: Signing the deal is only the start. You will work with partner sales teams to train them, build joint go-to-market collateral, and ensure they know how to position SAVVI to their clients.
- Technical Translation: You will act as the bridge between our technical team and the partner’s product team. You must be fluent in the language of HRTech integrations (SSO, API, File Feeds) to assess feasibility and scope with your potential partners and your SAVVI colleagues.
- Revenue Growth: You will be responsible for the revenue number attached to these channels. You will monitor pipeline health, drive partner accountability, and expand the footprint within existing relationships.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in the Employee Benefits or HR Tech ecosystem, with at least 3 years specifically in Channel Sales, Strategic Alliances, or Business Development.
- The Network: You have deep, active connections with Insurance Carriers (Voluntary/Supplemental Benefits). You know who to call to get a partnership conversation started. Experience with the BenAdmin/HRIS landscape is a strong secondary plus.
- The "Sell-Through" Skillset: A demonstrated track record of not just signing partners, but enabling them and growing them over time. You know how to motivate a third-party sales team to sell your product.
- Technical Aptitude: You possess a functional understanding of the HR technology stack. You can confidently discuss how data moves between a BenAdmin and a decision support tool (API vs. EDI).
- Communication: Excellent ability to present complex value propositions to C-level executives and key decision-makers.
- Drive: Comfortable with a high level of activity, outbound prospecting, and travel to industry conferences.
